The firm

The lawyers at Haslet & Tilghman

A small firm on purpose: three lawyers, one office on West Street, and every case known by everyone who works on it.

  • Corliss Haslet, a woman with silver hair in a mustard blazer, holding a pencil and a notebook

    Corliss Haslet

    Founding partner

Founded the firm. Owner disputes and contract cases, in court and in arbitration.

  • Bertrand Tilghman, a smiling man in a grey suit and dark tie against a dark backdrop

Tries the firm's jury cases. Commercial property and insurance coverage.

  • Lisette Vanterpool, a woman in a dark turtleneck standing beside a wooden chair against a grey wall

Contract and LLC cases. Writes and edits the briefs in every matter.

How the firm works on a case

Each matter has a partner who answers for it and an associate who knows every page. You can call either of them, and both will know what you're talking about.

We take fewer cases than a larger firm would, so the partner who meets you is the one who argues the motion. When a case needs more hands for trial, we say so early and tell you who they are.

Meet us before you decide

A first call is a conversation about the dispute and whether we're the right firm for it.
